Remodelling with purpose

Every project begins with a garment and material assessment. We review the construction, seam allowances, fabric condition, and the fit goal before confirming the scope of the work.

For redesign projects, we discuss what can realistically be achieved from the original piece. Existing fabric, damage, grain, and structure can shape the final result, so concept approval comes before work begins.

Fine Stitch works with alterations, redesign, and upcycling projects that respect the fabric already in hand.

When available, we can match original thread and trim, and we prepare a written alteration scope so the requested changes are clear. If supplementary materials are needed, they are quoted separately.

Projects are handled in Sao Goncalo with a practical turnaround based on inspection and workshop capacity. We also review customer-supplied materials when they are part of the plan.
